Tomorrow we try again

'Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes it's that little voice at the end of the day that says, I'll try again tomorrow.' Sitting here on the floor in the kids room, waiting for the eldest to fall asleep. Can't help but think about the million ways in which I failed them today. I was too impatient, expected to much. The amazing thing about being a mom is knowing that they will still love you tomorrow no matter how bad today was. They will wake up (maybe every hour during the night, or in the morning) and still need you. They will smile when they open their eyes and mommy is right there. So many days I loose it and take my frustrations out in them. I wonder what I am doing here and how I ever thought I could handle this. But then you get a hug and a kiss, your three year old tells you, you are the best, and you remember what you are doing here. Tomorrow we will try again

Patiently waiting

37 weeks 61 kg 95 cm around Can't wait for this baby to come out now!!!

So what is the plan with all this unplanedness?

What a year, I am actually amazed I survived, then again its not over yet .... Pregnancy is so hard and it sucks! Now add a 3 year old who wants to rule the house and a very dependent almost 1 year old and you've got yourself a madhouse.  They wake up at 5 am with an energy level of a kizilion, always hungry. The one talks non stop while the other rolls down the tiolet paper, which he can now reach. There is toys and food everywhere, thank God for a maid every second day since my huge belly makes it a little hard to bend down at the moment. By 8 am before daddy is even awake Mister has to sleep again. And apparently there is nothing more satisfying than asking your mom 10 000 questions the more she tells you to please be quiet. Finally asleep the Madam is hungry AGAIN!! And oh we can be so very specific about what we want.  So now I have maybe an hour, Madam gets to watch one dvd. Do I take a bath or shower, do I get dressed, do I make myself breakfast or maybe just go lie dow...

Baby almost on the way ...

Now time is really flying! Only a few more weeks then we meet our baby girl. Getting a little nervous because baby is lying posterior, but like some one said its just another form of normal. But from what I read I really hope baby turns. With all that is going on complications is the last thing I need. Me and hubby discussed her name again, he wanted us to switch the two names so she is Callisa Carmin, luckily that day her baby bag arrived, which already had the name Carmin on. Mommy wins yay!

Ciane update

In a months time my little boy will be 1 years old. I can't believe how time flew. And with Cara-Mia and the pregnancy it feels like I missed so much with him. Anyway he has 8 teeth already, and standing up against everything. We really hope he walks before baby comes. He is a very smart little boy and so much like his daddy. And I just love the affection he shows towards his big sister. He is always looking for Cara-Mia. That being said he is a real mommies boy, I can't dare just walk away. Chookie makes me smile so much, and with all that is going on he really is an amazing and easy baby.

Clever girl

I can't believe there is only about ten weeks left until our baby girl comes. Being this nervous and exited at the same time is very confusing. My 3 year old very wisely and confidently asked me a favor today. That when I birth her little sister I must please do so sitting down, cause she didn't have a very good view when I birthed her brother on my knees. And she wants to make sure all babies come out head first and is up side down when inside a mommy. Hmmm think she knows way too much about birth. She is so smart and such a special girl. Ciane is also growing up way too fast. My baby will soon be the big brother! I am so very blessed to be in such a wonderful place and time in my life. Yes I have my off days but I know that this is where I belong. Sent from Yahoo Mail for iPhone

Our new baby girl

With both my other kids I was right about their sex from the get go.  I always just know what I am expecting.  This time my heart says it will be a little girl.  We went for a scan at 13 weeks, and although it was still a little early to tell, the lady also thinks it is a little girl.  Guess we will confirm it at our next scan, when ever we go. I must say I am really exited about having another princess.  Tutus and crowns just makes me smile.  We bought the cutest pink outfits and I can't wait to see her in it. So before I even knew I was pregnant, Cara-Mia told every one she is having a baby sister called Callisa.  I absolutely love the name.  Don't think daddy is too impressed that Cara-Mia thought of it but oh well.  It is my turn to name the baby since he chose Ciane. But I don't want her to be just Callisa, so her name will be Carmin-Callisa.  Something a bit different. Like both my other kids .... Carmin Language/ Cultural...
