Rude post: BOOBS ARE FOR BABIES!!!

So for some time in our lives between 18 and maybe 30 our boobs are perky and fabulous.  But as soon as you fall pregnant that changes.  Therefor I strongly disagree with the fact that people think boobs are sexual.  I mean if boobs were sexual woman would fall pregnant when men licked them!! Whether you believe in God, Budha or evolution, the design of the womans body does not change.  Vaginas were made for sex and boobs were made for feeding babies. Why do mothers and babies have to suffer because men get confused about body parts.  Woman should be allowed to walk around shirtless without shame.  Because BOOBS ARE FOR BABIES. There is nothing wrong with breatfeeding, and no matter how smart we think we are creating bottles and formula, breastmilk is still best.

DIY breast feeding shirts

I made myself two (more stylish then the ones in the shop) breast feeding tops. I put hidden zips near my boobs, so I dont have to lift up everything when feeding.   The red one I made from scratch but the black one is an old top. It already had a top and bottom panel so I just took it apart, added the zip and sewed it back together again.   Come on mommies!! Get creative and make breast feeding sexy and stylish!

Vaginal Birth vs Natural Birth

Vaginal Birth vs. Natural Birth   I think woman should start thinking about using the correct words when describing their births.   Currently woman divide themselves into two categories.   You either had a caesarean birth or a normal birth.   A caesarean birth, whether emergency or elective refers to baby being removed through the tummy by surgery.   The normal birth we hear about mostly happens in hospitals.   You most probably labored on your back with your feet in the air, coached when to push.   Constant monitoring and maybe a drip.   Chances are good you were cut or/and had an enema.   Food and drink were restricted and pain medication was offered frequently. You wore an uncomfortable hospital gown and the white walls and strange instruments were anything but reassuring.   You could only choose one person to be with you during the birth and baby was immediately taken away. But is all of that really normal?   Are all the...

The birth of my babies

I have two amazing birth stories to share.   Both natural and unmedicated.   My stories make me proud, not only to be a mother but to be a woman.   It was Valentine’s Day 2010; I was 39 weeks pregnant with my first. I spend the whole day hoping this won't be a silly cliché love baby (I was single at the time).   So baby waited until 2am on the 15th. I woke up thinking I wet the bed, but as I got up and the water kept flowing, I knew it was time.   I grabbed my bags, woke my mother, and off we went.   We got to the birth centre about 02:30; the midwife checked me and decided I needed to get into the birth pool immediately.   Then the contractions started.   At first they weren't that bad, and I joked about them.   But they grew more intense, none the less I handled the pain very good.   By 5am I was so tired and just wanted to sleep.   I got into bed and immediately fell asleep.   By 7am I woke up in allot of pain, ...
